Method
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly.
- Pat dry and poke each potato several times with a fork.
- Rub the potatoes with olive oil.
- Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
- Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400°F for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness by inserting a fork. It should slide in easily.
- Slice each potato open and fluff the inside with a fork.
- Add butter, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon, sour cream, and green onions.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Larger potatoes may need an additional 5–10 minutes.
- Russet potatoes produce the fluffiest texture.
- For extra crispy skins, don't wrap the potatoes in foil.
- Leftover potatoes reheat beautifully in the air fryer.
