Welcome to my Book Report collection!
According to my mom, I was an avid reader as a kid. I can still remember picking up books in middle school and getting completely lost in them—mostly horse books, of course! Favorites like The Black Stallion and King of the Wind were always within reach.
But somewhere along the way, that love of reading faded. In high school, reading became more of a requirement than a joy. The assigned books didn’t resonate with me, and the pressure of tests and analysis took the fun out of it. I found myself turning to murder mysteries just to earn the points I needed, reading more out of obligation than interest. Over time, it completely drained my desire to read for pleasure.
And for years after that, I didn’t pick up a book unless I had to.
That all changed in March 2025.
Since then, I’ve been on a nonstop reading journey—and I’ve rediscovered just how much I love getting pulled into a great story. These days, my go-to genre is psychological thrillers. Give me a twisty plot, an unreliable narrator, and a story that keeps me guessing, and I’m hooked.
I get a lot of my recommendations (and some very helpful warnings!) from an amazing psychological thriller Facebook group I joined—and it’s been a game changer.

So dive in, explore my summaries, and see what I’ve been devouring lately. You just might find your next favorite read.
