Ingredients
Method
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
- Rub both sides of the pork chops with the olive oil, then coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the pork chops in the pan.
- Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Reduce the heat to low. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. As the butter melts, spoon it over the pork chops for about 1 minute to coat them in the garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Tips
- Let the pork chops rest for about 5 minutes before serving. This helps keep them juicy.
- If your pork chops are thinner than 1 inch, reduce the cooking time by a minute or two per side.
- An instant-read thermometer is the easiest way to make sure they don't overcook.
