Easy Honey Garlic Air Fryer Chicken Bowls

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
For Serving
  • Cooked rice
  • Roasted broccoli or vegetables of choice
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Line the air fryer basket loosely with foil if desired for easier cleanup.
  4. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. While the chicken cooks, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and rice vinegar.
  6. Transfer the cooked chicken to a bowl and toss with the honey garlic sauce.
  7. Serve over rice with vegetables and top with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

Frozen broccoli works great for quick weeknight meals.
For crispier chicken, avoid overcrowding the basket.
You can swap chicken breasts for chicken thighs.
Leftovers reheat really well in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
