Easy Air Fryer Quesadilla Pockets

Our families love quesadillas. And this air fryer quesadilla pocket recipe was no exception. Fast, easy, and delicious. Just like every meal should be.

Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp taco seasoning
  • cooking spray
Optional Toppings
  • salsa
  • sour cream
  • guacamole
  • diced tomatoes

Method
 

  1. Lay each tortilla flat.
  2. Sprinkle cheese onto one half of each tortilla.
  3. Add chicken if using.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder and taco seasoning evenly over the filling.
  5. Fold each tortilla in half and press gently.
  6. Lightly spray both sides with cooking spray.
  7. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Air fry at 375 degrees for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove carefully and allow to cool slightly.
  10. Cut into pockets or triangles and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Cheese-only quesadillas are great for picky eaters.
Rotisserie chicken works perfectly in this recipe.
Don't overfill the tortillas.
For extra crispiness, spray lightly before cooking.
Leftovers reheat well for 2–3 minutes in the air fryer.
