Another Riley Sager book done! This time, it was The Only One Left.
In 1929, the brutal murders of the Hope family shocked the Maine coast, leaving seventeen-year-old Lenora Hope as the prime suspect—though her guilt was never proven. Decades later, Lenora remains confined to her decaying cliffside mansion, unable to speak and cut off from the outside world.
When home-health aide Kit McDeere arrives to care for her in 1983, Lenora begins communicating through an old typewriter, offering to finally tell the truth about what happened that night. But as Lenora’s story unfolds, Kit starts to question whether she’s hearing the full truth—or if the woman in her care is far more dangerous than she appears.

Oh my, this book was so good!!! I could not put it down. I seriously devoured it in a couple of days. Riley Sager really outdid himself with this one.
The book starts with Kit trying to figure out Lenora’s backstory – what happened during the murders of her family in 1929. The story was so intriguing, and there ended up being twists at every turn. So many that I don’t want to mention them. Just know that this book is unputdownable! It’s written well and keeps you guessing. Plus, the ending is amazing. I highly recommend it!
