The Housemaid is Watching is the third book in the Housemaid Series by Freida McFadden. Just like with the first two, this one did not disappoint! The first two were similar but with wildly different twists. What was this one going to be like?
You really get to see the evolution of Millie. She now has two kids, a husband, and a house in the suburbs. I bet she never thought her life would be like this. And I found myself being happy for her.
But her happy little neighborhood wasn’t all it seemed to be. Some of the neighbors are a bit strange. One family even has a maid, a maid who seems really intent on watching Millie. But why?
I loved seeing how conflicted Millie was between what she was seeing and what she thought. I loved her evolution. And Enzo’s too. And how they stopped at nothing to be there for their children. And each other. And I loved how both her and Enzo’s pasts come back to haunt them.
I could honestly watch this entire series as a Netflix special. Make it happen!
