This was another great read from Freida McFadden. The Boyfriend kept me guessing the whole time. It’s split between several people’s perspectives and timeframes. And I usually don’t try to guess the ending or the twists, but this time I swear I had it right. I didn’t. I was so wrong!
The premise is that a single woman in New York, Sydney, is trying to find Mr. Right. She’s failing miserably. Until one day, Tom enters her life, and he’s seemingly perfect. But when her friend is murdered and it’s connected to others across the coast, she starts to suspect her new boyfriend. He is a doctor after all. And her friend was dating a doctor before she was killed.
I don’t want to give too much away because the story is so good, and it’s worth reading for yourself. The characters are well developed, and the twists are perfect, just like The Boyfriend!
