Book Report: Missing

This book made my heart race! Missing, by Ruby Speechley, was a great book that made me more anxious as it went on. My anxiety rose with the characters.

This book is set in England. Ellie, a single mom, sees a missing person post on Facebook. But it’s of her own son, who’s clearly not missing. Other moms seem to hate her. Was this a prank by one of them? But as time goes on, people start questioning whether Tyler is really hers.

There’s also an ex-husband in the picture. Someone who never thought Tyler was his. And it turns out that he’s not. So who is he? What happened when she was on holiday years ago? Did someone rape her? Is that who’s doing this now?

It’s a riveting read, especially when I try to put myself into the shoes of the main character. It’s a crazy world out there, and you have to do everything to protect your children.
