This is one of our go-to salmon recipes. It’s easy and so good. I’ll marinate the salmon as it’s thawing all day in the sink. Or, marinate in the fridge for several hours.
Marinade
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons good soy sauce
6 tablespoons good olive oil
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
Directions
Place a flat-top pan on the stove to heat. (Or heat up the grill!)
Place the salmon in the hot pan or grill. Discard the rest of the marinade. Grill for 4 to 5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon. Turn carefully with a wide spatula and grill for another 4 to 5 minutes. The salmon will be slightly raw in the center, but it continues to cook as it sits.
Transfer the salmon to a plate and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
Serve with vegetables and sticky rice.
