Competitive soccer is a prickly thing. Twice a week practices. Traveling all over the place. Money spent for these games and tournaments.
But it’s also a lot of fun. Though, we’ve had some struggles this year!

Braden
Braden has had quite a few games this season. He’s played on both his level and up to the 2010 level. And it’s been fun to see him on the field and as a goalie. He’s also done really well in futsal. That’s such a fun sport to watch. Anyway, here are a few pics from the season so far.

Devin’s games have been hit or miss. It’s tough when you have to miss some games and good tournaments for band. But he loves both and is trying to do them both while he can. But, here are some great pics from various games and tournaments throughout the season so far.

St. Louis
Missouri was one of the most beautiful places I’ve been! Loved traveling through the state. And though we only won one of the 3 games, we had some glimmers of good playing. Plus, Devin scored!

Crew ’08 at Regionals in Texas!
That’s right! Crew made Regionals! We traveled to Texas in June. Yes, it was hot. And we did not win a single game. But you can’t get better unless you play better teams.

End of Season
It’s the end of the soccer season for Devin. He started up high school soccer, so his time with Crew is limited. He’ll still be going to practices, though, and getting ready for next year. His focus for now has turned to Deer Creek Soccer. He’s on varsity and has been given a chance to show what he can do.
Braden will still be playing. His futsal season is over, but they should start up Spring ball shortly. Here’s hoping I can add to this post. But don’t count on it. We’re so busy!
