We’re still in the middle of summer practices, but it appears that games and tournaments will soon be upon us. Devin has already been assigned to several really awesome tournaments and showcases. These are a big deal for college recruiters. Right now, we show Kansas City, St. Louis, Florida, and Las Vegas on the schedule. I’m so proud of him, and I can’t wait to see this awesome team play.

Flexibility Practice
Florida – December 2023
Florida was a fantastic (although expensive) trip. The fields were well-kept, the officiating was the best I had ever seen, and the boys played well. We matched well with the other teams we played.
Devin got to play in all 3 08 games and a few 07 games. 08 ended up with the best record of the weekend at 1 win and 2 draws for a total of 5 points.
We were also fortunate enough to bring Evan along, and I’m so glad we did. I think he had an amazing tournament, and I see him having such a splendid year.

Devin was able to go to Arkansas with his dad. They brought Latham with them that weekend.

Texas
Round Rock – September/October 2023 (07 Regional)
Devin had the pleasure of playing with the 07 Regional Team on this trip. We played some great teams. The competition was certainly stiff.
Lucas – October 8, 2023 (08)
Round Rock/Georgetown – December 2023 (07 & 08)
We took another trip to the Round Rock/Georgetown area for a couple of games. Devin played in both the 07 and 08 games. The 07 teams were tough, but the 08s were pretty well-matched. We lost the first one 2-1. Chase scored a penalty kick for our only score. And these teams were teams we played before at Southern Nazarene, where they beat us pretty badly!
By the way, the fields were really nice. One was played in Spicewood, and it was a beautiful facility. The weather was gorgeous, too.
Oklahoma
Sand Springs – November 2023
We traveled to WSA country – Sand Springs. It’s a nice facility. Even better, it’s close!

Enid – September 2023
Devin played with both the 07 and 08 teams in Enid. 07 lost but the 08 team won.

07 Crew Game – August 2023
One of the first games Devin had was against the 07 Energy Team. It was definitely not a close game. But Devin was glad to be back in the soccer saddle.
08 Crew Game – December 2023
Crew 08 played the OEFC Navy on a cold Wednesday night. Latham had gotten hurt at school practice, and Caylum couldn’t make the game. So Devin stepped in as goalie. He did really well! Only allowed 1. Sam came in as goalie second half. We lost 0-1, but it was a good game.
