Food Edition: Crockpot Chicken Spaghetti

Here’s another new recipe I found on Facebook. I’ve had some pretty good luck with food I find there, and this was no exception. All 3 kids and Mike just loved it! It was such a hit, I thought I’d share the recipe.

Crockpot Chicken Spaghetti

This was another hit with the family. It's funny that we've gotten such great and easy recipes from Facebook.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 4 hours

Ingredients
  

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 20 ounces cream of chicken
  • 16 ounces cooked spaghetti
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 16 ounces shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic (I add extra!)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to taste
  • 1/2 chopped onion *Optional: I did not include this as my kids and I dont' eat onions, sorry, honey! I did, however, add onion powder.)

Equipment

  • Slow cooker

Method
 

  1. Place chicken, cream of chicken, Rotel, minced garlic, onion*, and all seasonings in the crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken hits 165 degrees.
  3. Remove the chicken and chop or shred to bit sized pieces. Return to crockpot.
  4. Add all cheese, cooked and drained pasta, and sour cream. Stir to combine
  5. Season more as need until it's to your liking.
  6. Optional – garnish with parsley
