This is Devin’s second year with the OKC Crew team. And fortunately, Braden also got to join this club this year.
So when we found out that they were doing another camp, we jumped at the chance.
Devin missed it last year due to a conflict with Marching Band. Unfortunately, he also had to miss it last minute this year for the same reason. We were all bummed. It’s a great experience for the kids to not only hone in on their skills but learn to work with the new kids that have come to this team.
However, we took Braden to the camp being held at the Southwest Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) in Weatherford, OK. He said it was tough work, but he loved it. He loves this team and all the coaches. I’m so proud of him!
When we picked Braden up from camp, he was super energetic, telling us all the storied he could. Then he passed out in the car on the way home! But I’m so glad he got to experience this.
