Halloween was on a Monday this year. It’s tough when it’s on a school/work night. And to make matters worse, I’ve been under the weather. Some type of sinus headache or something. Pounding behind the eyes, pain in the sinuses, and just an overall feeling of bleh.
But we still managed to go. And even though there were way fewer houses giving out candy, we made the most of it. And had a lot of fun, too!
Braden, who dressed up like a zombie hazmat guy, went with some friends around the neighborhood. One of the friend’s mom took them in the truck to the other side of our neighborhood. They did it right! Braden came back with so much candy!
Devin spent time at a friend’s house; mostly band kids were there, which is awesome. He didn’t have a costume, so he took one of his old ones that Braden had. I wish I had a picture of him – he ran out too fast for us to grab it. But it was more than a little snug and short in both the arms and legs. Hilarious! Picture a Minecraft onesie for a 10-year-old on a 14-year-old!!
Austin wore a Paw Patrol costume. He was Chase, the puppy cop. And let me tell you, he was more than adorable. What’s even better is that he wore it to daycare, and another kid was wearing Marshall, the fire dog from the same show. Amazing!
I didn’t get many pictures but below are some I managed to snap.
Enjoy!
