So, this is another recipe I found on Facebook. I’m never sure how those will turn out. But this one was a hit with every one of my family members! Plus, it was easy to make. I did double the recipe for our family of five and got Braden to help me make on while I made the other. It was some great bonding time, too!
The recipe below is for one stromboli, rnough for a small family of about three.
Ingredients
1 tube of refrigerated pizza crust
8 slices of deli ham
10 slices of Genoa salami
12 slices of sandwhich pepperoni
8 slices of provolone cheese (can use mozzarella)
2 tablespoons of melted garlic butter
2 teaspoons of parsley
3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
Small jar of marinara sauce
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 and roll the dough out flat on a baking sheet.
Layer the marina on top of the dough. You can use as much or as little as you desire.
Layer the cheese and meats, then roll it up tight and pinch the seams shut.
Cut a few slits on top and brush half of your garlic butter on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake for about 25 minutes until the crust is a golden brown.
Brush the rest of the garlic butter on while it’s still hot from the over.
Let it rest a few minutes before you slice it up.
Pair with some marinara to dip and a side salad.
