Devin turned 18 on April 8th.
It’s a big milestone, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel like a sudden change. It feels more like a continuation of who he’s been becoming over the past few years.

Devin is funny, quick-witted, smart, and incredibly athletic. He keeps things light, but he also takes the important things seriously. He’s the kind of person who doesn’t need a lot of attention, but you notice him in the ways that matter.
What stands out most is his work ethic. He’s put in the time, consistently, without needing to be pushed. Whether it’s school, work, or soccer, he shows up and does what needs to be done. He’s dependable, steady, and takes responsibility for himself.
He’s also just a genuinely good person. He’s kind, respectful, and easy to be around. He has a great group of friends, stays out of trouble, and makes solid choices. As a teammate, he’s someone others can count on—he helps where needed and shows up for his team.

Over time, he’s grown into someone who is independent, capable, and quietly confident. He leads by example more than anything else, and that says a lot.
Next up, Devin plans to attend Oklahoma Wesleyan to play soccer and is planning to major in Sports Medicine. It’s a path that fits him well, and it will be exciting to see where it takes him.
I’m really proud of the person he is right now—not just for what he’s accomplished, but for how he carries himself and how he treats others.
18 looks good on you, Devin.
