Devin had the privilege of playing in the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, a wonderful organization that “provides opportunities for artistic excellence to central and western Oklahoma.” Their season finale concert took place on May 1st. This was after he had a True Potential soccer game and competitive soccer tryouts. His day was full!
Devin is one of 2 trumpet players in the band. And though the number of students is very small, their sound will blow you away. I did not have the pleasure of listening to their practices on Monday nights. So when I first heard them play, I was speechless. And be sure to watch the entire video.
