Devin has been part of the Deer Creek soccer program for four years—2 on varsity, plus time on JV and JV2—and has played just about everywhere on the field: winger, defense, midfield, and forward. Wherever he’s needed, he steps in and does the work.
What I’m most proud of isn’t stats or titles—it’s his consistency. Whether he’s on varsity or playing JV minutes, he shows up, works hard, and stays committed to his team. That’s the kind of player he is.

Deer Creek soccer has been such a great program to be part of. Year after year, these teams compete and make playoff runs, and the JV group even brought home a state title last season. More than that, the community around this program is something special—families who show up, support every player, and cheer just as loud for others as they do their own.
Senior Night was a great moment. I was proud to walk him across the field alongside Mike, Braden, and Austin and celebrate everything that’s gone into these years.

Devin has loved soccer since he was 4 years old, and that hasn’t changed. While others moved on to different things, he stuck with it—and that passion has carried him all the way through Deer Creek and into his next chapter.
Next up: Oklahoma Wesleyan, where he’ll continue playing as a striker and work toward a degree in Sports Medicine.
Proud of you, Devin. ⚽️
