We finally got some good snow in Oklahoma! Not ice. Not sleet. Beautiful snow. According to reports, Edmond got 7.5 inches. Couldn’t believe it!
School was closed on Friday just in case the weather turned bad. But nothing happened. It was cold. Oh, so cold, but nothing came in until that evening. We even had a soccer game at Soccer City!
Then the snow came. And it kept coming. And coming.
I didn’t mind. We were at home with the faucets dripping. We were warm and snuggled up with the dogs. I took the time to knock out a couple of books and just didn’t do much.
Then Sunday, we ventured out a little. We took it slow and were very careful. Mike even stopped to help two different people! I won’t post those pictures, but I love that about him. It’s pretty cool he always tries to help.
It’s Monday and the snow is still on the ground. The temp is just too cold to melt anything. So I know the roads will be worse tomorrow, especially if anything did happen to melt and then turn into ice. School is closed tomorrow and the kids have another day to take advantage of this beautiful weather!
