Well, it’s that time of year again! Time for Marching Band! They’ve already had several practices over the summer, and they’ve learned 3 minutes of their Singularity show so far.
I haven’t been here for any practices, so I was happy to find some amazing pictures taken during band camp. The campus looks so beautiful, especially with the new practice field. And the sunsets….just gorgeous.
And to kick things off, the Deer Creek Band got a new band trailer. No more U-Hauls! It’s a beautiful trailer. Thank you to everyone who made this happen.

Indianapolis – Super Regionals – 10-21-23-2023
This year, the Antler Pride Marching Band went to Indianapolis for Super Regionals rather than Nationals. We got to view their performance on Live TV. It was amazing. A tear-inducing moment. I’m so proud of Devin and all his bandmates. They should be proud, too!

Tonight was Senior Night. Senior Football players, Cheer squad, and Band members were all honored. We had a regular pre-game walk-on but our performance was pushed to post-game. Though the stand emptied out, some football players joined the band parents to watch the show. It was an amazing sight!

OBA State – 10-28-2023
The Oklahoma Bandmasters Association puts on State Finals every year for the different classes. 6A1 and 6A2 happened at Broken Arrow this year. It was a cold and rainy day but so much fun. We could not repeat our success from last year but still managed second place in Class 6A2. I still think their performance was spectacular. Even in these conditions!
Because of the weather, they did not have finals. So the prelims were it!
End of an Amazing Season
Well, the 2023 Marching Season has come to an end. It was a whirlwind season with so much to do. Again, I’m proud of this group and so proud of Devin. I hope he continues with music because I am so looking forward to next year. To another amazing season.
