What a beautiful night for some music!

Both the High School Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony performed last night. And it was amazing!

This concert was originally scheduled for May 4th – May the Fourth Be With You. And both bands played a Star Wars-themed tune. It didn’t matter that it ended up being May 15th. It was still spectacular!

We didn’t record all of the Symphonic Band, but we did get the Imperial March, complete with Mr. Casaday playing trombone! And Austin was thrilled with the song choice!

Then it came time for the Wind Symphony. They had an array of music. Most of wich centered around the trombone. First of all, Norah Hager, the number one trombone in the state of Oklahoma, is graduating. She deserves this type of send-off. Second, covid hit when Mr. Casaday wanted to bring the quartet in for a concert. I suppose they were finally able to make it. Third, a notable trombone professor from OSU was able to make it and perform a beautiful solo with the band as accompaniment.

Anyway, enjoy all this beautiful music!
